Voicemail Setup

Welcome to Tampa VoIP. You are probably a new user on the telephone system.
The very first thing you need to do is take a few minutes and setup you r Voicemail Box.

Step 1) Log into your voicemail box by pressing the "Envelope" button on your phone or by dialing, (Star)  *123.
It will ask you for your PIN. Your default PIN is 6 plus your Extension Number. So if you are extension 101 then your PIN is 6101.

Step 2) Record your Name. This is used in the Spell By Name Directory so when a caller presses the digits to your name it will say your name when it finds a match.
To record your name simply log in and then press 0 and then 3. Follow the instructions and don't forget to save your recording.

Step 3) Record your Unavailable Message. Repeat Step 1 to log in and then press 0 and then 1. Follow the instructions and don't forget to save your recording.

The following is a list of Voicemail Commands:

(Gives the information about time, date and from which number the voicemail was sent.)
  • Press 2 to change folders
Change to which folder:
Press 0 for new messages,
Press 1 for old messages,
Press 2 for work messages,
Press 3 for family messages,
Press 4 for friends messages,
Press ‘#’ to cancel
  • Press 3 for advanced options
Press 4 to place an outgoing call,
Press 5 to leave a message,
Press '*' to return to the main menu
  • Press 0 for mailbox options
Press 1 to record your unavailable message,
Press 2 to record busy your message,
Press 3 to record your name,
Press 4 to record your temporary greeting,
Press 5 to change your password,
Press '*' to return to the main menu
  • Press ‘*’ for help
(Repeats the whole menu again.)
  • Press ‘#’ to exit
